Prospective homebuyers in Yorkshire are now looking forward to moving into a brand new property, thanks to Shepherd Homes’ recently launched equity loan scheme.

The scheme offers a rent and interest free loan of up to 25% on the cost of selected properties at three of Shepherd Homes developments in Yorkshire - York Dale, Killingbeck; The Observatory, Potternewton and Valley View, East Ardsley.

Many properties have already been snapped up by eager homebuyers since the scheme’s launch earlier this year and the properties still available are generating massive interest.

Subject to conditions, Shepherd Homes is offering a loan of up to 25%, which is rent and interest free for up to 10 years. There is no deposit or legal fees to pay, which immediately removes two of the major obstacles preventing many people from buying a home.

Under the scheme, the superb two bedroom apartments at York Dale are available for just 75% of the purchase price. This makes the apartments £86,996 which means mortgage repayments of just £311 per month – potentially making buying a new home even cheaper than renting.
